Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops and Alaska INBRE present:  “WRITE WINNING NIH GRANT PROPOSALS”  with John D. Robertson, Ph.D.

November 16, 2018
On-site at UAA Gorsuch Commons
Remote presentations via Zoom at UAF & UAS

Alaska INBRE is hosting this free, all-day NIH Grant Writing Workshop. Our presenter, Dr. John Robertson, is Managing Member at Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops (GWSW), and a recipient of competitive extramural funding from both the NIH and non-federal sources. He has served as a member of grant review panels, a reviewer for various biomedical journals, as well as a member of journal editorial boards. Before his recruitment to GWSW Dr. Robertson served as a mentor for junior-faculty grant applicants and was recognized routinely for excellence in teaching. Attendees will receive a copy of the NIH version of the Grant Application Writer’s Workbook, which “will serve as a step-by-step guide to writing a compelling, fundable NIH grant.” More information on the workbook is available here.

This workshop is open to faculty, researchers, post doctoral researchers, research technicians and lab support, clinicians, and grant administrators; however, registration priority will be given to individuals who are eligible to submit NIH applications.
REGISTRATION WILL Close when we reach the room capacities at each location or November 2nd.
